All over the world, women are promoting networks of solidarity, forms of protection and denunciation against all violence, whether domestic, imperialist military or fascist. Women are building forms of resistance in their territories against hunger, poverty, wars, extractivism, climate collapse and deprivation of rights.

The recent war between Afghanistan and Pakistan has been overshadowed by the attack on Iran by U.S. and Israeli imperialism. Yet the Afghan-Pakistan war, which began 21-22 February 2026 has resulted in heavy causalities on both sides. It was launched by the Pakistan Air Force airstrikes on Eastern Afghanistan (Nangarhar, Paktika, and Khost provinces).

The attack against Venezuela in early January and the abduction of Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores are part of the new U.S. strategy within the broader reorganization of the world and of inter-imperialist power relations. This aggressive strategy notably involves increased economic pressure and direct military interventionism toward Latin America.

Imprisoned for 59 days on unfounded charges, Algerian socialist activist Lyes Touati has been released after a broad mobilization, turning his case into a symbol of attacks on democratic freedoms.
